We Assist Orphaned and Vulnerable Children and Youth Achieve Their Full Potential.
what we do
We raise funds from the public and private sector to provide facilities to benefit and inspire the children and youth in impoverished rural communities to live a purposeful, healthy, productive and engaged lives.
The funds raised contribute to:
- The Supply Food & Nutrition Necessities To Orphans & The Vulnerable
- The Provision of Recreational Facilities & Activities For The Youth
- The Provision of Playground Facilities For Children To Aid In Their Development
- The Provision of Workshops – Goal Setting & Perseverance For Our Kids & Youth
- The Provision of Care Services and Counselling
We supply food and nutrition necessities to orphans and vulnerable children in poverty stricken, and deep rural communities. The objective is for these children to have access to nutritional resources that are comparable to those available to other children in their communities.
Over 2 million children in South Africa are considered to be malnourished, preventing them from growing and developing normally.
Your donation will go directly to feeding orphans and the vulnerable, preventing stunted physical growth due to a lack of food and ensuring that children can learn effectively in school.
We provide age-appropriate recreational facilities and activities to encourage the youth to engage in physical activity, play, and social interaction. With both staff and community support, we are able to provide daily activities for various age groups, which help improve a young person’s sense of well-being.
Activities and recreation are key ways to keep our youth active in a positive and constructive way while also improving teamwork, communication, and self-esteem.
We provide playgrounds for children because we recognize that playgrounds allow children to practice and develop a range of critical social, emotional, physical, and mental skills.
Children’s movements on a playground help them develop both gross and fine motor abilities, as well as core strength. Playing on the playground also improves body awareness and strengthens the vestibular system, which controls balance and coordination.
Teaching our children how to set goals is critical because it provides them with a sense of purpose for their actions. Setting goals aids with the development of new behaviors, guided focus, and sustaining momentum in life.
We provide care services and counselling of abandoned, abused, neglected, orphaned and homeless children.
Care services have the desired outcomes of ensuring that no child goes without shelter, clothing, access to safe drinking water, or basic personal hygiene. This includes the provision of shelter and other material support (such as house repair, clothes, bedding).
